New Britain, Conn. (WTNH)- Hartford police were able to prevent a potentially violent confrontation when they arrested a woman in a car with a handgun on Hazel Street yesterday morning.
According to police, the incident involving the woman had escalated from an earlier argument involving at least three people. During that confrontation one of the people involved pulled out a baseball bat. At that point, the woman flashed a silver handgun and threatened to use it. It was later determined that the gun had been stolen from a location in East Haddam two years ago. All three people involved in the dispute are now facing charges.
