Man arrested for robbing two Plainfield gas stations

(WTNH)–Police in Plainfield have arrested a man in connection with two gas station robberies that took place in October.

Cody Lester of Moosup was arrested on first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny charges after police said he robbed the Valero and Best Way gas stations in Moosup and Central Village near Plainfield on October 12 of this year. Police said the 21-year-old confessed to committing both robberies.

Lester was arraigned at Windham District Court and is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
