Traffic stop leads to drug charges

PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH)- A traffic stop in the Moosup section of Plainfield has ended with one man under arrest on drug related charges.

Police say a car was stopped shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Sunday night on Sterling Road.

During the investigation, a passenger in that car, 35 year old Eric Terwilliger was carrying heroin and cocaine in the hood of a sweatshirt he was wearing. Terwilliger was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of narcotics.

The driver of the car was not charged.
