WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Students, school, staff and parents in Waterbury are coming together on Tuesday, Nov. 29 to call on the state to continue to fully fund charter schools.

They are standing up against a proposed $11,000,000 cut to the states public charter schools.

The rally will be at the Brass City Charter School in Waterbury 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Organizers say they will specifically speak about how these cuts will directly hurt families and children.

The Northeast Charter Schools Network is holding the rally.
