Decision to be made over estate of Middletown woman lost at sea

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH)– A decision is expected Tuesday over the estate of a Middletown woman whose presumed dead after her boat sank during a fishing trip.

Monday, a probate court discussed the possibility of appointing one of Linda Carman’s friends to be the trustee of her property.

Carman’s son, Nathan, survived on a raft after their boat sank back in September. Police later searched his home in Vermont for evidence as to what may have caused the boat to sink.
