Bristol police looking for a suspect in a drive by shooting

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — A drive by shooting remains under investigation after police were unable to locate a suspect vehicle.

Bristol Police said at approximately 7:56 p.m. on November 28, officers responded to a complaint of shots fired.

Police said they found the victim at a residence on Munchausen Avenue. The victim told police that he was a passenger in a car that was traveling northbound on Munchausen Avenue when shots were fired from a car traveling Westbound on Prospect Street.

The victim sustained a grazing wound to the left side of his head and was treated on the scene before he was taken to Bristol Hospital according to Police. The driver of the car was not injured.

Police said they searched for a suspect vehicle but were unable to find anyone that was involved in the shooting.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 860-584-3011.
