Arrest made in Norwich home invasion

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) — Police investigating an October home invasion in Norwich have made an arrest.

According to officials, a home on Hamilton Avenue was the site of a home invasion on Oct. 16. On Tuesday, police arrested 22 year-old Rasheed Serrano of Norwich, as the suspect they say is responsible for the home invasion.

Police have not provided description of the home invasion or details leading up to the arrest. But Serrano was charged with first degree burglary, second degree assault and sixth degree larceny.

Serrano was held on $100,000 bond.
