Reward offered for information leading to Milford bank robber

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in a Milford bank robbery.

According to authorities, the Webster Bank at 314 Merwin Avenue was robbed around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday. They say the suspect handed a teller a note that said “This is a robber, give me all the
large bills in the draw.” He never showed a weapon.

Police describe the suspect as a 5’5″ to 5’7″ tall, white man is his late-20s to early-30s with facial hair and a medium build. They say he wore a gray and black hoodie, jeans, sneakers, and gray winter cap, and sunglasses. He ran out of the bank, but police think he got in a car near Dunbar Road and New Haven Avenue.
