WalletHub Ranks CT 10th Worst State for Identity Theft & Fraud in 2016

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- Some bad news for your wallet. According to WalletHub, Connecticut is the 10th most vulnerable state for identity theft and fraud, for 2016.

WalletHub looked at 6 things to determine the rankings, including identity-theft complaints per capita and average loss amount due to fraud. Connecticut was the number 1 most vulnerable state when it comes to Identity theft complaints per capita, and identity theft with the passport program.
