Woman calls 911 to report domestic incident that never happened

WEST HARTFORD, Conn.  (WTNH)  –  A woman has been arrested for falsely reporting an incident after her call to 911 led West Hartford police to surround the apartment building she was in and brought out a armored vehicle.

Police have charged 35 year old Diana Fuentes Centeno of Hartford with misuse of a 911 system, falsely reporting an incident, interfering with an officer, reckless endangerment and risk of injury.   Police say her child was present during the incident.

According to police, Centeno called 911 at 9:48a from 58 West Beacon Street stating she was witnessing a domestic incident where she could see her neighbor holding a knife and then she hung up.   Police responded, surrounding the building, and then entering the building at which time they detained several people.   Police were able to determine Centeno made the call and claimed she had been involved in a disturbance an hour earlier but police say that was unfounded and arrested her.
