Body found in Willington pond has been identified, no criminal activity suspected

Willington, Conn. (WTNH) — A body found in a Willington pond earlier this week has been identified.

But, police said, that identity is being withheld pending positive identity and next of kin notification.

Police do not suspect criminal activity.

On Tuesday, Connecticut State Police found the body in the water of Hall’s Pond on River Road.

State Police said this is still an ongoing investigation.
