In the Bender Kitchen: Mike Karolyi of iRockRadio

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Today Mike shares his easy recipe for what he calls Crock-O’s, aka Crock Pot Tacos. is an Internet Rock station, once The Rock 106.9 WCCC. Dick Robinson of Connecticut School of Broadcasting had the idea for iRock and partnered with Mike Karolyi to make it happen. The air staff is made up of all former WCCC personalities. Craig Edelson, Concert Kidd, Stephen Wayne, Slater and Mike Karolyi.

The studio is located on the Farmington campus of Connecticut School of Broadcasting.

iRockRadio celebrates its 2nd birthday on Thursday 12/8.

3-4 chicken breats (cubed)

1 white onion chopped

1 can of corn (drained)

1 can  of black beans

1 can tomatoes and green chilis (drained)

1 packet taco seasoning


  1. Heat crock pot to HIGH setting for 4 hours, or LOW setting for 8 hours
  2. Combine all ingredients into crock pot and cover.
  3. When your Chicken Taco Soup is ready to serve, add in some crushed tortilla shells, shredded cheddar cheese, and a little sour cream.
