Care4Kids Program Hosts Roundtable Table

HARTFORD Conn. (WTNH) — A forum in Hartford is going on Wednesday to talk about cuts to the “Care4Kids Program”.

The state is planning to close the program to some new applicants on December 31st.

Teen parents will be effected by the change. As will those who received needy families benefits within the last five years.

The changes do not affect any family currently receiving benefits from the program.
