Police find 260 Grams of Cocaine in Drug Bust

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — During a drug bust on Tuesday, investigators seized over $18,000, 260 grams of cocaine, and a SKS Rifle in the home of Evaristo Castro. Investigators from the Narcotics Vice and Intelligence Unit had been investigating cocaine sales in local bars, and their investigation resulted in an arrest warrant for Castro.

Castro was taken into custody during a traffic stop and the search warrant was executed immediately after where investigators and the Bridgeport Police found the weapon, money, and drugs. A convicted felon, Castro was charged was the Sale of Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm, and operating a drug factory.

He will appear in Bridgeport Court later this month and was held on a $250,000 bond.
