Lights in Ledyard. Ah, Alliteration. (WTNH/Report It)

(WTNH) — Just like many of the sunsets you’ve been sending, your lights are shining bright. From Pawcatuck to Stratford and all points in between.

Your yards are fully illuminated. Then again it’s all fun and games until the electric bill comes in. But that’s not until next month. Letters are on their way to Santa. So many beautiful manger scenes too.

This year the Christmas trees are glowing with pride. So many of you putting in a great deal of time and effort.

Gil Simmons helping to light the heroes tree in Old Saybrook. Joining him are two people he knows very well — his mom and dad.

Of course we also saw some snow this week. enough to coat many surfaces. It made for some beautiful scenery, but didn’t last long.

An amazing group of people inducted into the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame. Each one of them more than deserving.

The Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge lit up in red, white and blue as we mark 75 years since the horrific attack.

Finally, a man by the name of Armand Choiniere. One of the original founders of Bristol Midget Football. He’s been an official for the game for 53 years. Recently recognized by the Connecticut General Assembly for his years of service and dedication.

So many wonderful pictures and stories. As always … keep them coming!
