Suspect flees scene after car crash

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — According to Middletown Police, a male suspect fled the scene after he had been involved in a crash.

On Saturday, Marcin Sienko, 39, of Middletown fled the scene of a car accident that he was involved in and walked back to his residence on Briarwood Lane.

Sienko told Police that he “had no idea what happened” and he was, in fact, the operator of the vehicle.

His car was located off of a road way behind trees and brushes South of Briarwood Lane. Sienko was later charged with evading responsibility and failure to drive right.
