Buying ice cream in the cold

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — With all this cold, as you could imagine, there are some businesses that are finding business isn’t booming. Like ice cream.

At Arethusa Farm Thursday in New Haven, there were some customers, but they were buying things like milk.

“There’s a 30, sometimes 40 minute wait, people waited just to get ice cream. Not what we are going to see today. Not what we are going to see today, no definitely not,” said Leslie Rivera Arethusa Farm.

There are some takers. At night the supervisor tells us Yale students will come in for ice cream to get their minds off their exams.
