Chuckles was wrong. (WTNH / Report-It / Donna Pedersen)

(WTNH) — This past week was filled with a lot of red and white. First, the snow. Another round of winter weather. Adding to what we already have on the ground. Vehicles out in full force to clean all the mess on the roads.

Drivers at First Student in Middlebury had to clear off all the buses. The wind on Monday toppling some pretty big trees.

Gina from Cheshire sent in some beautiful close ups of snowflakes. Two kids, making a snowman while holding up a sign that says Turks and Caicos.

One guy, mistaking the snow for sand. Debbie in Naugatuck may have to wait for the snow to melt before she can paddle along.

Families taking advantage of the time outdoors — building some pretty awesome snowmen. These three made a giant Buddha out of snow in New Haven. Erin opted to make a shark. Another person, made a heart in the snow.

Speaking of which, Valentine’s Day was this week. So many of you celebrating the love. Many of the kids getting in on the action. As well as your pets. They seem to take part in just about everything.

Keep those pictures coming!
