(WTNH) — This week’s Report It Recap going to the dogs. And that’s no joke. Thursday was National Puppy Day, which is meant to celebrate the young four-legged friends in our lives. But that didn’t stop you from sending in photos of all dogs. Different breeds, shapes and sizes. After all, they bring so much joy to our lives.

The wind caused damage and brought down a lot of trees like one in Guilford. Part of a pine tree fell on power lines in Wolcott. Wires also came down on this Acela train in New Haven, stopping the train on the tracks.

The winter season is now behind us and spring is finally here. Many of you are ready for the warmer weather. It will be here before you know it.

A viewer from Branford spotted Sports Anchor John Pierson and Chief Photographer Keith Porter down in Tampa working on a special project about the Yankees.

Finally, a shout out to the 14U Shoreline Sharks Black Team. They competed in the New England Regional Tournament and won. They now move on to the national stage.

Keep those pictures coming!
