Drugs, dress, & sex: How to talk to your kids about prom night

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — As the big event approaches, your teen’s anxieties can range from being asked, deciding whether or not to go, finding the perfect dress, and considering the possibility of intimacy that’s often associated with the big night.

That’s why Dr. Amy Alamar stopped by Good Morning Connecticut to speak with News 8’s Stephanie Simoni about how to handle these talks. She says when it comes to the outfit you have to talk with your daughter and son about how their clothing comes across.

She also gave helpful hints on how to talk with your kids about experimenting with drugs and sex.
