CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A West Haven man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing two people in Clinton on Sunday night.

Police say officers found two 45-year-old men with serious but non life-threatening injuries when they were called to 28 River Road around 8 p.m. The victims’ names have not been released.

According to authorities, 56-year-old Anthony Magaraci fled the scene with a female companion. Police later found the two in Windsor and brought them to Clinton Police Headquarters for arrest processing. They say the female passenger was not charged and has been released.

The Campbell Avenue man is charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault. He was arraigned Tuesday at Middletown Superior Court where he posted a $200,000 bond and is due back on June 13.
