Police: Shooting leaves man, 27, dead in Connecticut

STRATFORD, Conn. (AP / WTNH) — Police say a shooting has left a man dead in Connecticut.

Stratford police say it happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday in the town at 54 Garibaldi Avenue. The 27-year-old man was taken to Bridgeport Hospital where he died of his injuries.

The victim has not been identified.

Police say two suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored car shortly after the shooting. Investigators are searching for the vehicle and are trying to identify the occupants.
