NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A New Haven man is charged with workers’ compensation fraud after police say he illegally collected more than $12,000.

Police arrested 56-year-old Joseph Anthony on Thursday.

His employer accused him of exaggerating a work-related injury that he reported suffering in May of last year.

Police say surveillance cameras show Anthony moving and walking in ways he claimed he couldn’t.
