Teen injured in fall at Enders State Forest

GRANBY, Conn. (WTNH) — A teenager has been injured in a fall at Enders State Forest on Friday afternoon.

According to DEEP Environmental Conservation Police, the 17-year-old from East Longmeadow, Mass. was with a group of friends in the park. He was by the waterfall when he lost his footing and fell about 10 feet.

He suffered injuries to his face and was transported by ambulance to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for treatment.

The teen’s injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.
