Former associate professor at Yale sues school

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A former associate professor at Yale is suing the school because she says she was fired for complaining about sexual harassment.

Susan Byrne is a former Spanish professor.

She accused Yale of sexual harassment and bullying and says she was denied tenure because she spoke up.

The suit claims the Spanish department perpetuated a culture of harassment and discrimination.
