New York man sentenced to 10 years for selling heroin, crack cocaine in Connecticut

(WTNH) — A man who sold heroin and crack cocaine in southeastern Connecticut will spend the next ten years behind bars.

A federal judge sentenced 33-year-old John King of Queens in a Bridgeport courtroom on Thursday.

Prosecutors say King regularly received large shipments of drugs in New York then brought them over the border. He used an apartment on East Main Street in Norwich to store them.

King pleaded guilty to the charges.
