3 Connecticut colleges rank in new U.S. News & World Report list

(WTNH) — Three Connecticut colleges have made the list of U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 Best Colleges rankings, with one them reaching the top ten.

Among national universities offering a full range of undergraduate majors, master’s, and Ph.D. programs, these three Connecticut college made the list.

The rankings are determined based on a mix of criteria, including tuition and fees, enrollment size, acceptance rate, and majors. Yale was recognized for its research, drama, and music programs. UConn was recognized for its education programs and student life; while the University of Hartford was recognized for its 80 possible fields of study plus campus traditions.
