Danbury man faces federal charges for selling prescription pills that killed local woman

DANBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A Danbury man is facing federal charges on Tuesday for selling heroin.

DEA Agents arrested 31-year-old Jose Charon on Tuesday.

Officials say they started investigating Charon in April after a local woman died of a prescription pill overdose.

They say Charon sold her those drugs and has also been selling heroin.

He faces 20 years if convicted.
