STORRS, Conn. (WTNH) — The University of Connecticut has received its highest ranking to date in a survey of the nation’s top public universities.
UConn was listed as 18th in the nation among U.S. News & World Report’s list of the nation’s “Top Public Universities.”

Over the last several years, UConn has solidified its reputation as a world class institution of higher learning. Historic investments have led to increased student enrollment, including a more competitive and diverse student body. UConn was among 1,389 national public and private universities ranked in the survey.
