PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH)– A Plainfield man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly sexually assaulting a teen girl at a cycle club event back in July.

Police say on July 11th, officers began an investigation into the alleged sex assault of a 15-year-old girl at the Central Cycle Club in Central Village. The victim told police that while she was staying at the cycle club during an over-night event, she woke up to find 25-year-old Shane Boucher sexually assaulting her.

After a lengthy investigation, police secured an arrested warrant for Boucher, who is already incarcerated on unrelated charges. Boucher was then arrested at Danielson Superior Court and charged with sexual assault in the second degree and risk of injury to a minor-illegal sexual contact.

Boucher was held on a $65,000 bond.
