Cos Cob man arrested for speeding, faces drug charges

GREENWICH, Conn. (WTNH) — A Cos Cob man is facing multiple charges after police say he was speeding and had narcotics and illegal substances inside the vehicle.

According to police, Robert Wolterstorff, 24, was traveling 50 MPH in a 35 MPH zone.

Officials pulled Wolterstorff over and say they saw marijuana remnants in plain sight on the floor of the vehicle. Officers then conducted a vehicle search where they say they discovered a quantity of narcotics, narcotic paraphernalia, and other contraband.

Wolterstorff was subsequently placed under arrest and is facing several charges including Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Traveling Unreasonably Fast, among other charges.

Wolterstorff posted a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 26.
