(WTNH) — With Amazon planning to expand their corporate headquarters, Connecticut is already making a big effort to get them here.

On Wednesday, News 8 asked Governor Malloy if having Amazon distribution centers in Connecticut gives Connecticut a leg up on other states.

They’ve indicated that we meet certain demographics and certain other desires but listen, this is probably going to be the hardest fought battle. Probably will be the hardest fought battle on economic developments in the last 50 years,” Governor Malloy said.

The Governor says the state will continue to seek guidance from Amazon as the company moves forward in its vetting process.
