Crack cocaine arrest made during Killingly traffic stop

KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTNH)– A Brooklyn man was arrested after police found crack cocaine inside his car during a traffic stop in Killingly Wednesday night.

Police say at around 9 p.m., troopers pulled over a 2005 Chevrolet Impala on Route 6, near Snake Meadow Road, for failure to have a front plate. During the stop, police say 22-year-old Branden Langlois was sweating profusely and was nervous. He then consented to a search of his car by police K9 Ambrie.

During the search, numerous pieces of crack cocaine were found. Langlois was then arrested and charged with possession of narcotics.

He was later released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on September 27th.
