East Windsor Police help wrangle runaway cow

EAST WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — East Windsor Police responded to a unique call on Wednesday night.

Officers sprung into action to bring a runaway cow home.

Officials say the animal was spotted on Niederwerfer Road.

Police say they were able to get the cow back to wherever it came from.

The East Windsor Police Department then posted a video to its Facebook page capturing the situation.

It is not known how the cow got loose in the first place.
