Fishbein/YMCA Charity Road Race raises money for good cause

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — You can take part of the Fishbein/YMCA Charity Road Race to raise money for a good cause.

Executive Director Sean Doherty and Marketing and Communications Director Alysia Cutting from the Wallingford Family YMCA to talk about the race and programs.

The Fishbein/YMCA Charity Road Race raises money for the LiveSTRONG for the YMCA program and other programs funded by the Wallingford Family YMCA Community Support Campaign.

The race is on Sunday, October 8th in Wallingford. Click here to register for the 5K, 10K and 1 mile walk.

LiveSTRONG at the YMCA is a free 12-week small group exercise and support program, which helps those affected by cancer maintain and rebuild strength, endurance and function.
