New health center opens in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A new health center is now open in New Haven’s West Rock neighborhood.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Thursday morning at the Cornell Scott Hill Health Center’s West Rock Center.

People will be able to get primary, specialty, and dental care there, plus mental health and substance abuse treatment and assessments.

The center is open to people who live in New Haven public housing, students from Brennan Rodgers Magnet School, students from Southern Connecticut State, and Cornell Scott Hill patients.
