Cruisin’ Connecticut – Rita Ora talks recording with Ed Sheeran, Hosting ‘Boy Band’ on ABC & Albanians in CT

(WTNH)– We’re Cruisin’ Connecticut to the Dunkin’ Donuts music lounge with iHeart radio in Hartford! Ryan Kristafer stopped by to chat with pop star Rita Ora about her hit single “Your Song” and her new album!

“It’s been doing so well. It’s been received so well. The online comments have been fantastic. And it’s out everywhere right now, streaming everywhere, and on the radio. So I’m just happy to be alive and making music and being able to perform,” said Ora.

Ora recorded a song with Ed Sheeran who she goes way back with.

“Well I’ve known him for a while. I’ve definitely shared some amazing fun moments with Ed. So it was like working with your friend. It felt really natural and there was no pressure. And we just made a great song out of it,” said Ora.

She also talked about new show she hosts on ABC called “Boy Band.”

“It’s awesome because it’s like a bunch of boys that have to be in a band and learn each other and now all of a sudden it’s like they are charting on iTunes.”

Ora’s from Kosovo. Since we have a lot of Albanians in Connecticut, Ora wanted to give them a shout out!

“We are the best!”
