Kidde: Operation Save A Life

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Operation Save A Life, is a partnership between Kidde, WTNH, and The Home Depot. Since 2002, Kidde has donated more than 1.3 million smoke and CO alarms to fire departments throughout the nation.

Kidde’s mission is to help save lives. It’s a mission that they take very seriously, and is the reason that they continue to develop new fire safety products, and invest in programs like Operation Save a Life. Kidde is the world’s largest manufacturer of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and is a division of United Technologies, which is headquartered here in Connecticut.

On October 7, viewers can head to participating The Home Depot locations for a Save a Life Saturday. This is an event to learn more about fire safety and get help in choosing the right alarm for their home.
