Two eastbound lanes on I-84 reopen following car fire

MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — Two lanes on Interstate 84 eastbound in Manchester have reopened following a car fire.

According to Connecticut State Police, the HOV and the left lane on I-84 eastbound near exit 62 were closed following the car fire.

State Police say the incident has caused minor injuries but that all occupants are out of the car.

It is not known what caused the car fire.

The lanes were closed for more than an hour.
