Capitol Report: Attorney General Jepsen Cooking Up Food for Mayor Harp

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — State Attorney General George Jepsen cooked up some Chinese food at a fundraiser for New Haven Mayor Toni Harp.

Jepsen actually speaks Mandarin, and he showed off some of his knowledge at the Chinese restaurant where the fundraiser was being held. He learned to speak the language in 1972, the same year President Nixon made a famous visit to China. Maybe he knew back then that it would come in handy at a Toni Harp fundraiser in 2017.
