Silver alert canceled after 2-year-old from Jewett City found safe

UPDATE: State Police say says the child was found safe Sunday in Massachusetts.


JEWETT CITY, Conn. (WTNH) — State Police Troop E issued a silver alert for a missing 2-year-old boy from Jewett City early Sunday morning.

State Police say 2-year-old Aceion Grant went missing Saturday. They say he was last seen wearing a blue Paw Patrol t-shirt and diaper.

Authorities describe Grant as a black male with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he stands at about 3’8″ tall and weighs approximately 35 pounds.

State Police Troop E asks that anyone with information on the location of Grant to contact them at 860-848-6500.
