Connecticut ranked among richest states in America

(WTNH) — A new report has Connecticut among the richest states in America.

The Nutmeg State landed in the 6th spot on a list according to 24/7 Wall St.’s “America’s Richest and Poorest States” report.

Researchers looked at household incomes, higher education rates, and the number of high-paying jobs.

Maryland came in first place, followed by Alaska and then New Jersey in third place.

Massachusetts finished in fourth, followed by Hawaii and then Connecticut.

Mississippi finished last, ranked as the poorest state.
