Eversource opens emergency operation centers ahead of Jose

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– After spending the past couple weeks in the south following the devastation hurricanes Harvey and Irma caused, Eversource announced it is geared up and ready to respond to damage or outages that could be caused by Jose.

The company is opening emergency operation centers across the state Tuesday morning. They are in Newtown, Hartford and New London.

If you see downed power lines, or have an outage in your area, you can report them at Eversource.com or by calling 800 – 286-2000.
