New Haven Police investigating after man suffers gunshot wound

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven Police are investigating after a man suffered a gunshot wound on Tuesday night.

According to police, just before 7:45 p.m., gunshots were reported in the area of Liberty and Putnum Streets.

A short time later, 35-year-old Wilson Garcia of New Haven arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm. Police say the injury is non-life threatening.

Officials are continuing to investigate the incident.
