North Haven Police searching for fraud suspect

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — North Haven Police are looking for the public’s help to identify a fraud suspect.

Police say a woman, depicted in surveillance pictures, stole a purse at Panera Bread on Friday, then used a credit card inside of it to buy $4,000 worth of computers from Best Buy.

Officials say she then tried to charge $1,700 to the card at Target. That purchase was denied when the cashier asked for an ID.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call North Haven Police.
