(WTNH)– Now that the fall is almost here, it’s time to look ahead to the holidays or winter getaways!

September is also a popular time to book travel. If that’s you, we are stretching your dollar with apps that will save you money during your travels.

Money.com released this list. If you haven’t booked your airfare yet, download the Hopper app. It’s a flight search engine and also uses historical data to predict whether prices are likely to drop in the near future.

AirHelp will help you get a refund! Maybe luggage was lost or damaged, or you flight was overbooked. Scan you ticket to see if you’re owed money.

Freebird is like travel insurance! You pay for the service once your flight is booked and if anything happens to it, you can re-book through the website.
