DEEP: Hazmat situation in Southington after box truck leak

SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH)– The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is on the scene of a hazmat situation in Southington Wednesday morning.

DEEP officials say that their Emergency Response Team is supervising a situation in a store parking lot off of Queen Street after something leaked out of a box truck.

The truck is currently being offloaded so crews can determine what the leak is and the cause of it.
