Man arrested in Old Lyme following home invasion

OLD LYME, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police have arrested a man who allegedly barged into a woman’s house in Lyme.

Police say he entered the residence, grabbed the woman’s cell phone, took money from her purse and pushed her down.

The call regarding the incident came in just before 3 p.m. on Thursday.

When police arrived, they found a truck parked at a nature preserve just off of Town Woods Road in Old Lyme.

Officials say the owner of that truck is 39-year-old Christopher Levesque who was located nearby with the stolen items in his possession.

Levesque is being held on a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
