CT Food Lovers

(WTNH)-Kat Ortiz, editor, discussed a new blog for foodies, called CT Food Lovers, that started from an Instagram account. Ct Food Lovers is on a simple mission to find out: uncovering the best in food, cocktails, beer, wine, and all locally produced edible goodness in the state.  Join us as we explore the top restaurants, the best hole in the wall dive bars, incredible gourmet food trucks, hidden gem seafood shacks, and everything in between. Use #ctfoodlovers to be featured.

One of the restaurants featured on the blog is Max Downtown. After a 3 month renovation project, Max Downtown in Hartford re-opened its doors earlier this week with a sleek, modern top-to-bottom design makeover. The flagship restaurant of the Max Restaurant Group now has a look that people feel is different, yet familiar. The menu is also new, allowing guests to share everything from salads to pastas to steaks. Executive Chef Chris Sheehan shows us how to make a tomahawk steak.
