Four charged with stealing cars from Orange, Newington

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH)–An 18-year-old and three minors are under arrest, accused of stealing cars from Orange and Newington.

Police said 18-year-old Ronny Aviles of Bridgeport was in one of two cars that were driving together and speeding in Milford and Stratford on I-95 South on Thursday afternoon. One of the vehicles was reportedly weaving through traffic.

An officer stopped the cars in the parking lot of a Cumberland Farms, and all four were arrested. The car Aviles had been in also contained a pellet gun, ski mask, and marijuana.

Aviles is being charged with larceny, and possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana. He was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
